Steel Lighted Whip Electrical Termination Options

Steel Lighted Whip Pole

  • Our steel lighted whip rods are made from a 1/4” diameter high quality spring steel pole.  The wires are situated down the exterior of the rod before being covered with a PVC jacket which protects the wires and the rod.
  • Standard available length of 78”
  • PVC Jackets colors available are red, black, yellow, white, green and blue.

Steel Lighted Whip Mounting Base

  • The steel rod is permanently attached to the mounting base which provides a means to mount the whip to the vehicle.
  • 1/2” - 20 male thread.
  • Bright zinc plate.  Meets or exceeds ASTM B633 Class 8 Standards.


Gecko STEEL Lighted Safety Whips are what we consider a medium duty whip.  They are manufactured with a 1/4” high grade spring steel shaft with PVC protective cover.  Currently they are offered in one length of 78”.  These STEEL Lighted Safety Whips share many of the same accessories as our premium Super Duty Lighted Whips.
